What's up fam?

Some of you might remember Perry (Previously had a while jdm fronted DC), but him and his brother Eddy asked if we could help out with their meet by showing up and trying to spread the word to get others to go as well. We wouldnt do the cruise/ride, but we would just go to the last stop where it will be a meet. Here's the info Perry and Eddy sent me...

Hello Everyone,
YES!!! It's that time again... The 2nd annual "MID SUMMER RIDE" is back in full effect. We've been doing a lot of research with a group of friends & volunteered on organizing this ride. This years ride will be a little different, but just about almost the same route as last year. We've gotten excellent feed back from last years ride and a lot of people emailing us to do another ride.... So we decided to do it and challenge ourselves to make this a bigger ride then last year.
Date of the ride will be on Saturday August 7th, 2010 so mark your calendars and make sure you can attend the ride.
  • Meeting spot will be @ Milpitas Starbucks parking lot at McCarthy Ranch (127 Ranch Drive, Milpitas CA 95035) @ 11am sharp. Kickstands up at 12pm.
  • First stop will be @ Santana Row at the very end of the strip in the Cinemark theater parking lot. Arrival time will be around 12:20pm. Kickstands up at 1pm.
  • Second stop will be @ Tanforan Mall (1150 El Camino Real, San Bruno CA 94066). This will be our lunch break for the riders that are hungry. Approximate arrival time 1:45pm. Kickstands up 2:45pm.
  • Third stop will be @ Treasure Island, SF. for pictures and to enjoy the scenery. Approximate arrival time 2:15pm. Kickstands up at 3pm.
  • - Last and final stop will be at Tapioca Express (43421 Christy St, Fremont CA 94538) where we will be ending the ride. Approximate arrival time 3:45.
Please note that all arrival and stop times are a rough estimate depending on the vibe of each break.
For our last stop, we will be packing up the parking lots with cars and bikes, and meeting with more photographers getting media coverage. So please feel free to invite anyone and everyone that aren't even going on our trip to come and hang out at the end spot. There will be food and drinks available for purchase at: Tapioca Express, Rubios, Madfish, Panera Bread, Wingstop, In N Out & Panda Express, Jamba juice, Wendys, Premier Pizza. This will be a great way to meet and associate with new people that share the same passion in motorsports and to check out the cars and bikes.
Road captain's will be announce at every stop for all the new riders joining at every destination we make thru the journey around the BAY AREA.
We have a count of about 120+ bikes & some Car clubs that will be attend this year already and the ride isn't till 2 months from now!!! Flyer's will be made and will be posted at every bike shop, Cycle Gear stores locations & social bike gathering locations around the bay Area & Central Valley. Info about the ride will be announce on the BARF forum http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=32 within a week or so (we'll send you guys the link to help support more rider to attend). We'll send you guys an email on a copy of the flyer as soon as we get our hands on them.
Remember... this is all about enjoying the ride, meeting  & welcoming new riders to the community, making new friends, sharing ideas and becoming all as 1 big whole family. This is not a ride that we'll be racing to each destination. It just takes 1 rider to ruin the whole thing for everyone.... especially for those that came far away to attend this ride. Please ride safe & ride at your own pace. Road captain's will be there to keep everyone together.... its pretty much there job haha.

Just a FYI. There will be a photographer following us during the whole ride and also a video camera guy... So smile and look sexy!
