theres this company based in hayward, ca; named P&S professional detail. they make some really good stuff. weve been using it for the past two years now at the shop. there velocity glaze is the BEST for BLACK/dark colored cars. it removes swirl marks, and those super fine towel scratches. and they have one for the light colored cars too. they both can be applied by hand and or machine.
car wash soap: i like to use a brand called mark IV; very cherry. **** is awesome. its leaves the car smelling like cherries and is formulated to not wash away wax/polish, but dirt, grease, road wax, and grime.
for wax, i like meguiars liquid wax. nothing's better imo.
for metal/wheel polish, its a tie. meguiars or mothers. they both goot.
tire shine: hard to say because none really go on that easy. but if i had to pick, it would no touch. just because it a foaming aeresol. haha
interrior: my choice is turtle wax's formula 2001. not too greasy but enough, and holds a shine. plus it makes the interrior lemony fresh! but id still settle for good old fashioned armor all.
I can hear it now at sacramento raceway. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new substitute for VHT. It is environmentally safe, and biodegradable. We present to you, SHT. Siemen from horses traction compound. It is a step up from VHT, cheaper and horses love giving it up."
