BUMP!!! So K.C. has all the info for the show side of things. Read that info carefully.

I was talking to chad today at the blox meet and he is really trying to surpass BOTI with this event. Since obviously BOTI is lacking with things and sliming down the events, traveling, etc...this may end up filling in those big empty shoes.

I know we only have 1 or 2 drag cars at the moment, but there are show cars willing to participate in the event, which is always cool.

Ultimately this is our mandatory event folks....which is good. We had how many cars at the blox meet today??? Why can we have more if not ALL at this West coast shootout event??

Dont get confused with the flyers. There is one that details show specs, and race specs.

So stock up on your blue tape to protect your front bumpers from rock chips!

Hey guys, i wasnt sure if you guys found out, but they changed the show to be only 1 day, which is on the 29th. So the Show/Race event is combined all into one day from 12-6pm. Show car roll-ins are start at 9:30am...

They got a new flyer out. The NEW CAR SHOW INFO IS ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THE SECOND FLYER. $30 entry fee for the car show, I believe we have to email the guy. Maybe we should anyways to get more info on whether or not we can part together with the track cars???

Racing will be from 10am-10pm pretty much. So we gotta bring alot of spare parts!!!

Ok here's some info guys. I hope you guys read this as I mentioned at the meeting to keep an eye on the forum for info about the show and camping at the track, the night before the race. I would post information here.

Hi,

I am Ted from wyldkardz and we have some questions. We are bringing about 15 cars to enter into the show. 2-4 of them are going to be racing that day. Are the show and race cars going to be parking with each other?? We dont mind doing this at all, but it would be a task for judging. It would also be a task for us pitting, bbqing, and just keeping an eye out on our cars.

Is there a general concrete idea, of how the show car parking and race car pitting layout is going to be??

Does registration need to be paid before show day?? Or is this something we can pay at the gate? The flyers are a bit mixed up, especially since this event got crammed into a 1 day event. I really wish you guys luck on judging and organizing this.

Hey Ted,
I am sure you are familiar with sac raceway since we see you out at every CMI event. The back part towards the end of the quarter mile where all the rv parking is that's where the car show will be. If you guys want to, u can get a spot in the pit area for the cars that will be racing, so u guys can be close to the cars in the show. But we cannot put the cars who will be racing in the show because it will be a mix up with people walking around and pulling cars out to race and what not. As for reg, you guys can pre reg with paypal to get a guarantee spot or you can pay at the gate.. Whatever is convenient for you guys. So in other words, you are either RACING or SHOWING ONLY. As for pitting, the race cars will have to park towards the end of the bleachers to be somewhat close to the show cars.

blahhh! lame that we cant park next to our race cars...but im sure we'll be able to hold it down on both ends of the event, race and show. I was also looking at a forum (forgot which one) and they were saying reg cut-off day for the car show is Aug. 14.... so now im confused with the whole paying at the door... maybe we should all pre reg together just to be on the safe side??? idk

to the show guys so that you can pre reg you should give your money to either Ted or HR Kc so that they can reserve the spots for you guys so it would be a good idea to pre reg so you guys have fosho spots

Guys, there are only 400 spots available for the show. Now, you can contact him directly and paypal him your fee, OR you can pay at the gate IF spots are available. Best bet is to get a head count of who is actually going to make it for sure, then email him and paypal him all at once.

I got two rooms reserved 10 mins from the track. So far its me,my girl, jay, rex, tony, and gyrex. We can fit all those heads in one room or we can space em out between 2 rooms. I like being cozy though, tony knows about that ;)

So who else wants in on the room? As it sits, I may cancel one unless we get enough heads.
