First off, thank you Tony and Jimmy for helping me with the tranny swap saturday morning. We worked our asses off and the work was well worth it. The car wasn't fast, but it ran fine. Thats always better than not running at all.
Tony thanks for hanging in there with me friday night after you got off work. While I built the spare tranny, you dropped the one with a hole in it. Knowledge can be a burden so I might call you next time I gotta drop a tranny
So when me and woody were gonna test drive the car, 1st was popping out, and 3rd was not going in AT ALL. That was pretty much going to end my BOTI trip. It was 12:30 or so in the morning and I was going to lock the garage up and call it quits. While tony went home to shower, and Norman and Jervin bounced to get normans car. Me and woody were chillen. Woody got the wheels turning in my head again, and Tony showed back up smelling good. Tony came up with the idea of putting another tranny in at the track....that pretty much put me back in the game. I rebuilt the transmission with the hole in it while norman and Jervin were chillen with me. Tony got a small nap in his car, and woody went home to play with the babies or something.
The transmission was done around 530 or so and I had to shower and get ready to load things up.
We made it out to BOTI and everyone else saw the rest.
