sup guys so yesterday i finally began my gvr4 build and the road to mid 11 sec street car.... got the car pressure washed and moved to my boys garage where ill be doing most to the work... motor swap engin bay paint and mild wire tucking....

 

pressure washed!!! so clean!!! biggrin

my stopping point for the night... basically got the whole front end disassembled radiator out, front mount out, IC piping out...

tonite i got all the wiring harnesses done along with all the hoses and vaccumm lines disconnected... all done up top...

so guys tonite i got pretty much everything else disconnected (transfer case, axels) the only thing that is needed to be taken out is the motor mounts and that old heart with be out!!!!

lil update...

 

this side of the engine bay was covered with oil and grease!!! it was ****in nasty!!! all cleaned up though thanks to my coworker and his power washer!!!

ALL CLEAN NOW!!! also decided not to paint the engine bay bed liner black anymore... it was too clean to do so and no need for it... im just gonna by a spray can with my paint code on it and touch up some of the area's not needs it... its not alot btw...

NOW in the engine side... My homie RYUTO(Our Japanese DSM friend that looks more messican than japanese according to TED) helping me with transfering some stuff over and putting my build motor together

i was thinkin more of the kelfords. but i will have to also change my valve springs. future plans hahaha gonna see what i can do first with this setup.

Kelford 272s and beehives will allow that 50trim to breathe pretty good.

no update on pix yet... doing some parts cleaning lol alot of the parts that i need to reuse from the old block needed to be clean... so im bringing those to work and throwing them in out parts cleaner hot tank(sprayer) haha finally working at toyota is a benefit

minor update...

 

Did a mock up of the turbo so next time i bolt it on after a few oil changes it wont need any fabing or clocking of the turbine housing...

some thing is wrong here.... looks like im gonna need to notch the front motor mount to clear the oil drain... this is gonna be fun!!!

Got some updates with the car...

i had to notch the front motor mount pretty good... gonna try and re-enforce is a bit with some metal plates on this side

Oil drain clears though so thats a good thing... when i the 50trim turbo on after a few oil changes it will just be a bolt on deal...

now for my ****ty ass welding job... the upper intercooler pipe was a bit short so i had to extend it... sorry ted... my first time welding... good penetration though... i think LOL

Next time click on the share tab on the actual video at youtube.com. That will give you a different link to copy. Then click on the section where it says youtube when you want to put the video in. If it doesnt show up in the quick reply then click on advanced editor. You will see the you tube icon, click that and paste the link from the share tab on youtube.
